Bast's shrine
Bast, the Devouring Lady or She of the Ointment Jar, is a very early netjert Who gained great popularity in ancient times, and She is still one of the more well-known Names. Bast, along with Yinepu, brings a lot of people to the kemetic ways today. She is a protectress of many things and people, and She's not the fluffy sex kitten many think She is!
Bast is my Mother - I've always suspected She was lurking about, but it was confirmed in July 2005 when my spiritual pedigree was established. ;)
