Roles
Mother of kings. Self-created goddess. Divine mother and protectress of motherhood. Possibly bisexual and a protectress of bisexual people, though a modern interpretation. Guardian of attributes such as pairing, bonding, protecting, and loving.

Beautiful Feast of the Valley, Boat Procession of Mut, Feast of Mut, Festival of Mut, Opet, Praise of Mut

Signs & symbols
Double crown, lioness, vulture, cobra, queen, cow.

Associations
Colours: deep red, deep purple, gold. Gems: amethyst, carnelian, garnet, lapis lazuli, malachite.

Offerings
Precious stones or metals, good perfumes, quality items, pomegranates, rich or sweet foods, red wine, myrrh.

Assimilated with Amunet. Wife of Amun or Amun-Ra, sometimes Nun. Mother of Khonsu or Montu, and sometimes of all gods. Connected to Aset and Nekhbet, Sekhmet and Bast, Wadjet and Menhyt, and Nut. Daughter of Ra. Sometimes syncretized to form Sekhmet-Mut or Bast-Mut.
